Love at first sight!

For many times in my life I met people who I liked at the first glance very much. They waked my regard during first seconds. And until now, they are in my mind, although sometimes I did not see them for years. But do you think that was a love at first sight?
In my point of view, love is something so deep, so ''world-shaking'' for loving people at the beginning, which grows to a basic thing after years of trials; it flourishes with the years and you will be a rich person,if you are one of the few people in the world, who could share it for a long life. Each person on this earth, has only one which is the right one. Some of us meet him, others not and sometimes you get the right person, but sometimes not. Being attracted to good-looking persons is not a love at first sight, it's only a fascination that you meet for many seconds, and generally it ends up with nothing.
Anyway, love is a feeling, so no matter it is a fascination or love at first sight, when it comes, enjoy it. But do take it slow, and give both of you enough time to tell you it is real love.

How to cook the Moroccan Couscous?

I know that me and Firdaous are speaking all over the time about Couscous and about the Traditional Moroccan Couscous which really a delicious dish and I cannot even explain how it's. So I tried to gather some informations about this famous dish which you can find it even in NY's restaurants.
Couscous is a dish typical Berber, popular in many countries, especially in Morocco and Algeria. Couscous means spherical granules obtained by agglomeration of hard wheat semolina they may be fine, medium or large.
There is also the couscous made with barley that Berbers call and timzine badez (a kind of cornmeal).
Originally, the flat base in North Africa consisted of the combination of couscous (grain) and chick peas (legumes), but without meat, legume playing this role.
Today, couscous is usually served with meat and vegetable stew. It can also be eaten alone, flavored or plain, hot or cold as a dessert or side dish And here you are a video guide about how to cook a Couscous. Oups! Now ''without Firdaous'' you can cook Couscous in your own houses.

For steps of making Couscous you can use read this article added from:http://hubpages.com/hub/Moroccan-Couscous-What-is-couscous

Death penalty: opinions

As we expect for every morning, Naseer teacher yesterday has brought us a really great breakfast. The breakfast was an open buffet from many subjects that still debated in the world. But the interesting in our breakfast's discussion was the subject of death penalty. So I'm going to focus on that subject and also explain what really I think. People in the past had different vision for this topic, because they thought that they have to kill who kill one of them, I mean the expression '' eye for an eye '' (expression that our prophet had used in some Hadith), But in the present time, majority of points of view had been changed, and people differently start thinking about this punishment. Before they thought that death is a necessary retribution for murderous cases, but after decades they notified that this didn't effect the society and crime rates continued rising.
In our classroom, many classmates like Bilal, Firdaous and Beliz accepted the idea of that governments have to exert death penalty as a punishment. But really I had a different opinion, even I agreed on the example that Beliz had given. I think that death penalty is really a negative form of punishment, because firstly killing criminals wasn't in any time a lesson or a warning for people. Even plenty of people had condemned for their crimes and had been exerted to death penalty but crimes still increasing and prisons still full. So why we are using this from of punishment, If we can not at least prevent rise of crimes and unlawful acts.
All religions, ethnics with their ideologies, cultures considerate people's soul a really precious and valuable blessing that our God sent to us. And they agree on conservation of the human soul. For example, in Islam, there are many Quran's verses that tell people to forgive people who made crimes and to forgive them an opportunity to return to their first life and to be thoughtful. To sum up, death penalty should be not upheld by the governments, instead of this governments have to think about building special establishments for people condemned for kill crime and assassinations.

Dream big

If there were ever a time to dare,
To make a difference
To embark on something worth doing
It is now.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily –
But for something that tugs at your heart
Something that is worth your aspiration
Something that is your dream.
You owe it to yourself
To make your days count.
Have fun. Dig deep. Stretch.
Dream big.
Know, though,
That things worth doing
Seldom come easy,
There will be times when you want to
Turn around
Pack it up and call it quits
Those times tell you
That you are pushing yourself
And that you are not afraid to learn by trying.
Persist.
Because with an idea,
Determination and the right tools,
You can do great things.
Let your instincts, your intellect
And let your heart guide you.
Trust.
Believe in the incredible power
Of the human mind
Of doing something that makes a difference
Of working hard
Of laughing and hoping
Of lasting friends
Of all the things that will cross your path
The start of something new
Brings the hope of something great.
Anything is possible
There is only one you
And you will pass this way but once.
Do it right.
Dream Big.

Great weekend!

Some times you may face big conflicts in your life, but the great instant in the history of a human being is being the victor after those conflicts. Last week, and after the quiz, I spent all my weekend on sleeping in my small bad, watching scare movies without any sense. In Perşembe and Cuma - like Turcs call thursday and friday - I put in all my time on watching movies and I remembered the last film '' Let Me In'' which was so horrible and made me very afraid of vampires.
Any way, the momentous in my memories today is my visit to Izmit, where I have a lot of ''relative''s and friends. Saturday I woke up with the Fajr Adhan, I took a bath, prayed and went off directly from the dorm. Oops I forgot to say that before going out, I dressed.
A really lovely and pretty friend '' Esra'' come to me, and we drove to Izmit by her car. Of course, is me who was driving without a permit. The weather wasn't that bad but really I hated it. We had a small breakfast in Darıca where I used generally to meet this friend, and we arrived to Izmit at eleven o'clock. We went together to the Marina there. Then, Esra had to go to visit a friend, so I stayed alone in the Marina before my Egyptian friend Mumin came and also Esra returned back. After eating a hearty lunch, we went to the north side of Izmit from the way of Pamukova. We visited Kanlıca or Kaplıca - I forgot the name- but really it was one from the best outlook that I have seen in all my life. It was really like Malaysian Sarawak jungles or Karadeniz's forests where you only the blue sky and the green covering of wild trees. It was really fantastic and amazing. I just sat down and saw the beauty of what we have in our earth. I needed those instants to be sure that I'm happy of my life and what I have seen. Those views gave a great hope and inspiration.
Really, I wish if I were with you there, together with Zehra and Naseer teacher, with funny Mediha, adorable Sevde, Serra, Beliz, Meryem, Rauf, Bilal, Cihan, Hande, LADY GAGA'LI Elif and of course my little sister Miss Casablanca. I love you all.

Insomnia!

Life is difficult,
I don't know what's happening with me, but really I'm feeling so bad and so lonely those days. It's true that I have a lot of good friends and I love them so much, but last days I feel isolated from the atmosphere.
I laugh when I'm next to my friend and I enjoy time with them, but really my laughs are like the crocodile's tears. I mean that I just try to chuckle in front of my friends, but I feel bad inside. I'm not lying here or trying to write an ordinary text that teacher ask about, but I'm telling you about what I'm feeling that hurt me, and become like obstacles in my social and educational life.
Yesterday, me and the Arab guys in the dorm made a barbecue party in the garden in the back of our dorm, really it was fantastic but when we finished it and I return to my room I feel again lonely and isolated. Saturday also I had a small party with my relatives, and I spent a funny time by playing Turk Scrabble and driving to Kocaeli where my relatives stay, but I still feeling lonely. Since more than 9 days, I cannot sleep and today I stayed until 6 o'clock not because I was playing Fifa 2011 on the PS or chatting with friends on the Facebook but it was only to sleep. I spend more 4 hours on my bed, thinking and thinking without any sense. I talked to my mother this morning on the phone, and I tried to tell here what insomnia I'm passing but she used to talk as usual positively and tried to keep me good. She said that what I'm facing is only because I'm not near to them but it's not my first year far from the family, it's more than 6 years. I do not have any social problems and maybe I had some bad love experiences. Maybe it's because of that, or maybe because I just started a new life between school and association works, and struggling to start again my job.
I believe that I will gain this ''war'', but I don't know If I have the power to fight so far.

Higher or lower!

In a materialistic world, people became only sculptures, likeness that hasn't any respiration. And those status symbols differ us to high and low, like a merchandise. It's true that status symbols have been existed for many thousand years but really their based on principles had been changed in the 21st century. Before, in the Arab world, having a large collection of books was considered a status symbol and also pearls and jade were also major status symbols. But now, having money or wealth and things that can be bought by wealth, such as cars, houses, or fine clothing, are considered status symbols, I mean that what is considered as a status symbols nowadays is only thing related to money and wealth. Status symbols are different from a culture to an other, for example, in my country -Morocco- large house in the seaside, a Mercedes-Benz luxury sedan and a trophy wife are considered the main status symbols or also as an example the usage of cellphones in Istanbul is considered as a status symbols.

So really those status symbols change from a culture to an other, from a country to an other but they have only one common characteristic is that they are all related to money and wealth, and this keep us very far from each others, because everyone is trying to show off what he has.
